It was back in 1975 when Maikel was born in IJmuiden, as a small town at sea just above Haarlem. He currently lives in Velserbroek with his wife, kids and cat. Maikel has been working in the mortgage industry since 2007.

When he was 18 years old his parents moved for a few years to Norway, being an Expat over there. Although he stayed back home, these were his first experiences with Expats.

Now after working at Expat Mortgages for 10 years, he helped over 1000 clients finance their dreamhouse.
