Merith Verkerk was born and raised in Huizen. A small town half an hour from Amsterdam. After high school she moved to Leiden, where she greatly enjoys living, and started studying medicine at Leiden University. It is a lovely city with a rich history and lots of students. In her spare time, Merith likes hanging out with friends from her student association, going shopping and doing a bit of baking.
