Join this hybrid event (possible to join online and offline) and get a step closer to obtaining a mortgage and buying a property in the Netherlands.

Starting 17.30 Zandkasteel, Amsterdam

What can you expect from Expat Mortgages Webinar?
We open our (digital) doors 5 minutes before we start at 17.30. Live attendees are welcome to walk in from 17:00 onwards. We will start with a short presentation, covering the basic steps of buying a house. We also look at different mortgage options, giving you a couple of simple formulas to calculate the maximum borrowing capacity and monthly costs.

We further talk about the importance of buying agents, independent notaries and tax advisors. After a 30-40 min presentation, we look at all individual questions and answer them live. The workshop ends around 18.30 and if you still have any remaining questions, you will be given the opportunity to schedule a new meeting.

Location:
Live: Zandkasteel, Bijlmerplein 888, 1102 MG Amsterdam
When you enter the building (to the right of the Douwe Egberts café), you will be welcomed at the front desk.
Online: via Zoom.

Speaker
Matthijs van der Heijden
Matthijs is from a very small village in the middle of The Netherlands. After completing middle school, he moved to Leiden for studies. Here, he did a Bachelor International Relations and Organisations and a minor in International and Intercultural Management at Leiden University, and after that a masters in Business Administration at the University of Amsterdam. It was during the purchase of his first home in Leiden that he got in touch with mortgage mediation. He then realized what an involved mortgage consultant could mean for their clients. Following the attainment of his master’s degree, Matthijs delved into a finance career, spending three years in mortgage mediation before joining Expat Mortgages to merge financial expertise with an international orientation.
