Join this hybrid event (possible to join online and offline) and get a step closer to obtaining a mortgage and buying a property in the Netherlands.

What can you expect from Expat Mortgages Webinar?

We open our (digital) doors at 17:25, and we start at 17:30. Live attendees are welcome to walk in from 17:00 onwards.

We start with a short presentation covering the basic steps of renovating your home, from planning and budgeting to financing. We look at the different ways to finance a renovation, for example through your mortgage, and share a couple of simple formulas to calculate your borrowing capacity and monthly costs.

We also explain the importance of independent advisors, such as tax advisors, when you are planning a renovation.

After a 30-40 minute presentation, we go through all individual questions and answer them live. The session ends around 18:30. If you still have questions afterwards, you will have the opportunity to schedule a new meeting.

Joost van den Elsakker

Joost was born and raised in Nieuwkoop, a town where he lived until he was twenty years old. During his Business Management studies, he moved to the beautiful Utrecht, where he still lives. After finishing his studies, Joost travelled through Asia for six months and upon his return to the Netherlands, he started working in the financial world. Advising, helping and guiding clients through the process of financing a home is what Joost loves to do. In his work, as well as in personal life, quality and attention for detail is very important. In his spare time, Joost can be spotted on the tennis court; in the football stadium; or on a plane, on his way to find new adventures and cultures
