Fred was born and raised in The Hague. At the age of 27 he moved to a little town known as Voorschoten, close to Leiden. When turning 35 he moved to Nootdorp, a town close to The Hague, where he resides to this day.

He has worked in the financial industry since he was 23, first as an insurance broker at Reaal Verzekeringen where he was the youngest advisor of the entire firm. He was asked to take place in a process innovation team lead by management consultants form AT Kearney to reorganize the company. In 1997 he made the switch to be an acknowledged mortgage advisor and has worked at several mortgage companies and real estate agencies.

In his spare time Fred likes to spend time with his family and his son and daughter. He is currently learning how to play badminton and if he has any remaining time, he likes to take walks at beaches and dunes.

At work he get lots of energy from solving complex cases as well as helping people in buying the house of their dreams. In most cases with a different approach, perseverance the dream can be realized.
