Johanna is German-American but grew up in the East of Germany. She chose to move to the Netherlands in 2019 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at Leiden University. After completing a minor in Business Administration, she discovered her interest in Marketing and proceeded with a master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Digital Marketing at the University of Amsterdam.

At Expat Mortgages, Johanna works in the Engagement and Marketing team. While her primary focus is on her work in engagement, she has also taken on several marketing projects to gain more experience in the field and actively apply the knowledge gained from the master’s program.

In her free time, Johanna enjoys life as a foodie by exploring new restaurants and cafes with her friends, as well as spending quality time with her pet cat at home.
